Our current client is a leading international provider of corporate, fund administration, administrative and accounting services, with a global presence in over 50 jurisdictions and a key office located in Sofia. On their behalf, we are looking for a dedicated Accountant to join their team and contribute to their high-standard service delivery in accounting, payroll, and corporate compliance. Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the accounting records of Clients in accordance with local regulations;
  • Preparation and submission of Client VAT returns and tax returns in accordance with local regulations;
  • Registration and communication with the tax authorities in regard to on-going accounting or tax issues of the Client;
  • Assisting in preparation of the Client’s financial statements in accordance with their specific requirements;
  • Assisting in participating in month end, quarter end and year end closings;
  • Maintaining good relations with Clients and identifying their needs and potential issues;
  • Working on in-house accounting software and client software as well;
  • Issuing sales invoices;
  • Preparation of payment orders in client’s portal, processing payment approvals;
  • Assisting in VAT recovery procedures;
  • Supporting the Team Leads in other tasks.


Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or any other relevant discipline;
  • Previous accounting experience;
  • Excellent command of English;
  • Good computer literacy – MS Word, Excel, Outlook;
  • Experience with working on different ERP Systems;
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Fast learning person, with a good eye for details;
  • High motivation to achieve results and seek solutions.
