Join our team as a Legal Advisor, occupying a key role in our Legal and Regulatory Affairs Department, providing legal support to the companies that are part of our dynamic and innovative group.

Responsibilities of the position:

• providing legal services for current and future projects of the largest company in the group in Bulgaria and abroad;
• conducting research on legal frameworks in international jurisdictions supporting the expansion of the group into foreign markets;
• drafting and reviewing various contracts related to the activities of companies in the group and their partnerships;
• monitoring the regulatory framework in Bulgaria and abroad and bringing products and processes into line with it;
• preparing legal statements on various legal matters including but not limited to: Banking and Finance; Consumer Law; Employment and Commercial Law; Intellectual Property; Business Advisory; Property Law; Competition Law;
• preparing and submitting of necessary documents for proceedings before the Commercial Register and Register of Non-profit Legal Entities;
• representing the company before external organizations and regulatory authorities such as the Bulgarian National Bank, the Consumer Protection Commission, the Commission on Protection of Competition, etc.;
• organizing and optimizing internal processes;
• drafting and reviewing any legal documents.

What we are looking for:

• university degree in Law and acquired legal capacity;
• at least 5 years of professional legal experience;
• knowledge on Corporate, Commercial and Civil law;
• experience in a bank, non-banking financial institution, payment institution or similar will be considered an advantage;
• excellent command of written and spoken English;
• hands on Microsoft Office, legal software;
• attention to detail, analytical thinking and project management skills;
• excellent organizational skills and a responsible attitude to work;
• excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure;
• team player with abilities to work on his/her own and to make independent decisions while working under short deadlines;
• desire to be part of a close-knit team that strives for high achievements;
• proactive approach to problem solving.
