Sales and Trade Marketing Specialist
Аbout the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Sales and Trade Marketing Specialist to join our team and support the growth of our Nonfood business across the Western Balkans. The role involves managing sales channels, developing market presence, and driving performance in collaboration with local distributors and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Support the management and execution of sales channels and market development projects in the assigned region, in close cooperation with the Senior Market Development Manager and distributors.
Assist in the implementation of the company’s Nonfood category plans and monitor progress toward targets.
Support the negotiation process by preparing analyses, documentation, and proposals for trade conditions and promotional activities within approved budgets.
Track, update, and help control budgets and spending throughout the year.
Organize and participate in regular meetings with clients, partners, and distributor sales teams; prepare follow-up reports and summaries.
Collect and analyze sales and distribution data by customer; support target setting and performance monitoring.
Ensure that Ficosota products are displayed, promoted, and merchandised according to company guidelines; assist in field checks and reporting.
Monitor product coverage and availability across the region and provide feedback to relevant teams.
Analyze results of trade and marketing activities and suggest opportunities for improvement.
Support the preparation of annual and quarterly business plans and presentations.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and assist in their evaluation.
Travel abroad up to 30% of the time to support market visits, execution follow-up, and coordination activities.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in an FMCG company.
Strong understanding of sales finance and experience managing budgets.
Advantage: solid knowledge of the local market.
University degree (Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field).
Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Active driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively (up to 30%).
